Founder & CEO
Eric Daniel Horn
Two decades in storytelling, culture, production, and digital strategy have led to this moment. It started at 14 - sneaking into rock concerts with a camera. The career that followed touched every corner of media: Atlantic Records and WCBS-TV. Broadcast Operations at ZEE Entertainment. Architecting cloud video solutions for VICE Media, HBO and the BBC. Leading engineering at an esports studio for Microsoft. Ten years co-founding and scaling a boutique creative agency to seven figures, producing live events and streams for Epic Games, Formula 1, Shakira, and more.
CultureRoot is the synthesis.
Co-Founder & Head of Production
Diane Schutz
A seasoned production veteran with credits spanning 40+ countries. CNN. PBS. Travel Channel. Food Network. Viceland. National Geographic. She produced and directed multiple episodes of the Emmy Award-winning Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and Parts Unknown, and is a James Beard Award recipient for Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie and Avec Eric. Her work has taken her everywhere — wartime Beirut, the deserts of Rajasthan, and burning six tons of cocaine in Panama. A deep network of local producers and fixers across six continents makes her uniquely equipped to lead production at CultureRoot.

Alex Roa
Director, Cinematographer, and Producer based in Mexico City. Founder of De Milagro Films, one of Mexico's most trusted production companies since 2006, with credits including work alongside Anthony Bourdain.

Abraham Palacio
Co-founder of Film The Americas, a Medellín-based production company connecting international crews with Colombia's best local talent and locations.
Chile — Fixer
Rodrigo Fernández
Founder and lead director of RF Films Chile, based in Santiago. A specialist in documentaries and international production services with a portfolio spanning television, narrative, and documentary work.
Argentina — Fixers
Carola Iujvidin & Gustavo Gordonas
Co-founders of iFixit Argentina, with 21 years in the market and 200+ completed projects for clients including Netflix, Travel Channel, and Discovery Channel. Gustavo's journalism career includes interviews with Nelson Mandela, Diego Maradona, and Pope Francis.
